In 2005, his vision was cast when he started DGC Environmental Services, Inc. Since that time, DGC has seen expediential growth while exceeding customer expectations throughout the southeastern US. As the CEO, David continues to build and expand the company.

Sidney Willis, CPESC

Sidney joined DGC over eight years ago. He brings over 20 years of experience ranging from erosion and sedimentation control to aquatic vegetation management to Vac Truck and Equipment operation. Sidney earned his CPESC certification in 2015 and his role as Executive Director of Operations has him overseeing all operations in all regions of our company.

Southeast Florida Crew Supervisor

Position Avialable

Crew supervisors are responsible for supervising a 2 to 3 man crew with the following duties and answer to the branch manager.

Job duties:

  • Communicating with store management.
  • Weed Trimming – Using proper safety procedures, operate a weed-eater
  • Mowing – Using proper safety procedures, operate a “Z-Turn” commercial mower
  • Trash and debris removal – Using a pickup tool, proper PPE and safety procedures.
  • Structure cleaning – Removing debris from catch basins utilizing nets and shovels, control structures and other stormwater structures.
  • Loading dock cleaning – Removing sediment and debris with shovels.
  • Basic Equipment maintenance – Including checking the oil, sharpening and replacing mower blades, and greasing moving parts as needed. All tasks should follow proper safety procedure and PPE.
  • Truck and trailer cleaning - Removing debris and unnecessary items from the truck and trailer. Washing the outside and wiping down the inside of both the truck and trailer.
  • Loading of daily supplies – Loading items that will be needed for maintenance into the work trucks and trailers.
  • Identifying deficiencies and correcting them or informing the branch manager and following protocol for resolution.

Skills/qualifications: Experience using and maintaining commercial weed eaters, mowers, edgers preferred. Ability to use a smartphone and applications very helpful. Herbicide applicator’s license and/or a CDL desirable. Ability to follow instructions and to work as part of a team essential

Job purpose: Perform essential tasks on job sites under supervision of a crew leader

Job duties:

Western Florida Branch Manager

  • Providing pictures to the NC office of each maintenance event, work order and other job related activities.
  • Review documents on Actsoft to ensure that safety and operational expectations are being met.
  • Negotiating contracts with subcontractors or vendors on projects
  • Scheduling subcontractor work schedules and construction scheduling milestones
  • Ensuring projects are completed in compliance with plans, specifications, owner’s requirements, and best management practices
  • Ensuring compliance with customer, state and federal standards and initiatives
  • Securing permits and approvals from federal, state, or local permitting authorities
